Why LED became the default choice

1. Color temperature (Kelvin)

• 2700–3000K (warm white): ideal for bedrooms and living rooms.
• 4000K (neutral white): great for kitchens, bathrooms and workspaces.
• 6000–6500K (daylight): for warehouses, garages and high-clarity areas.

2. Brightness is lumens, not watts

Measure light in lumens, not watts. A 20m² living room needs roughly 2000–3000 lumens spread across multiple sources.

3. Color Rendering Index (CRI)

Choose CRI ≥ 80 for natural colors, and ≥ 90 for spaces that need color accuracy such as vanities or showrooms.
